Arthur L. Dawson: What we do as artists is not an easy job. It’s truly a labor of love. So when you spend your time and money to support the arts, we appreciate it! There is no measure of thanks for your generosity. Without you and your passion for the arts, we could not continue to do the craft we enjoy and love so much. For over 20 years as a professional artist

I have attended, organized and participated

in numerous fine art and youth art programs

across the country. Utilizing my experience and

professional resources I developed a youth

art program that caters to the unique needs of

disadvantaged kids. The program has been

appropriately named the Youth Art Program

or YAP. Why YAP? The acronym is a pun for

talk, because that’s what the program is

designed to do, get kids talking or "Yappin"

about the arts.
